How to Watch NewTeeVee Live From Your iPhone
Livestreaming is fashionable today, either from a phone or a computer at home with a webcam. But one of the major challenges is how to view the content living on a phone. It would be nice that a company can provide a method for a mobile livestreaming without a new long encoding process? Here, among Livestream, today announced that its application Procast beta for Mac and PC at NewTeeVee Live, our annual conference of the online video industry. Using the iPhone's native H.264 HTTP streaming, allowing almost instantaneous Procast broadcasting iPhones - there are about a delay of 20 seconds of live broadcast to multiple mobile devices and can tune into the same stream. Watch NTV live by clicking here or go to iphone.livestream.com. Here's a demo video to see how Procast:
Tome Procast software for a short test, and I was broadcasting live from my Mac in less than five minutes, using a webcam and microphone. Procast can use any camera or microphone connected, so it should not be limited to capture devices integrate audio or video. Once my live broadcast was simply noted the Safari browser on my iPhone to http://iphone.livestream.com where I saw my personal channel. Press to open QuickTime where I saw a near real time, high-quality broadcast my opinion. Even better: As a broadcaster, I was able to toggle between the settings of my camera and my desk, I imagine as a useful solution for real-time training and presentations.
While there are other ways to view the video on the iPhone, most involve a recodification of arduous efforts. Livestream that has shrunk to less than half a minute. And the best part? ProCAST is simply using the native functions that Apple already offers the platform. That is a murderer depending on there, because it means that people can start listening live to iPhones without any software installed on the phone.
