Susan Boyle album 'one of the decade's fastest selling'

Unlikely musical sensation Susan Boyle has joined the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay and Leona Lewis with one of the fastest-selling albums of the decade, figures showed today.

The 48-year-old Britain's Got Talent Runner-up displaced more than 130,000 copies of her debut album, as it went on sale yesterday.
Experts in the Official UK Charts Company said it is destined to be one of the best sellers of the decade.
I Dreamed A Dream seems to be on track to compete for the prize this year have released the first week, a record held by JLS on their self-titled album which sold over 230,000 copies earlier this month.
The album features his version of I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables that catapulted to fame when she played the song in which Britain's Got Talent judges stunned voice.
It also includes standard Cry Me a River, as well as covers of Madonna You'll See and The Monkees "Daydream Believer.
Boyle album last week won the largest ever by the end of online retailer Amazon.
She said: "It was my greatest ambition to release an album and finally I succeeded. There is happiness out there for anyone who dares to dream."
Boyle released his album with a performance at The X Factor on Sunday during which he sang his version of the Rolling Stones song Wild Horses.
