BREAKING: Disgusting Remembrance Day flasher faces jail
A prankster who was exposed to a Memorial Day Parade in South Yorkshire has said he could face jail for his act of "disgusting".
Ricky Robey, 20, was at the window of the house of his girlfriend in Morrell Street, Maltby, down and front and pulled faces as the 100-strong procession of veterans, men and women, and children spent at 11.30 hours on Sunday November 8.
Today at Rotherham Magistrates Court unemployed bricklayers of Muglet Lane, Maltby, admitted outraging public decency.
District Judge John Foster said the act was disgusting in the best - but that time was the worst.
He added: "Whether intended or not, which showed a marked indifference and neglect of what was a very solemn occasion, at a time when this country has a very good cause to remember the recent conflicts around the world.
"I consider this matter very seriously, I want a report from the Probation Service, prison is certainly an option."
The court heard the procession returning from war memorial Maltby after observing two minutes of silence "when the leaders saw Robey appear in a first floor window.
Murmurs of disgust and horror shot through the figure as stated.
David Marshall, processing, said someone reported him to police and was arrested shortly after and made a full confession - admitting that he knew people might be offended.
Steve Smith said the defense of the joke was directed at a friend who was rebuilding the front garden wall and quickly covered up after realizing his mistake.
He added: "It was an affront to the parade or those who lost their lives for this or other countries."
