School boards in the Easton, Bethlehem and Nazareth area districts held their presidents, but made other changes during the reorganization meeting Monday night.

Here are the highlights:

* Member of the Easton Area School Board Kerry Myers was unanimously approved to replace Vice President Pat Vulcano Jr.as.

Vulcan was not present at the meeting due to a personal emergency and Myers was the only nominee for vice president.

The board also voted 8-0 to keep Patricia Fisher as president of the school board.

* In Bethlehem, Loretta Leeson retain his position as board president. She is entering her third year as president and 11 years on the board.

Board member Michele Cann was unanimously appointed vice president of the Board.

* In Nazareth, Linda McDonald, who had sat down temporarily as chairman since Kenneth Butz Jr. resigned in November, is as president in 2010.

School Board Director Lorin Bradley also was nominated for the presidency, but received only three votes to McDonald's six.

The Northampton County Councilman Ron Angle has been a judge in Bangor School Area Board, setting the stage for a court battle with District Attorney John Morganelli, Northampton County, who warned him not to take the oath.

Angulo and Morganelli said Borough Councilman Tony Wilson Verenna would sue if the school board and held seats on the Council simultaneously.

Do you think I should sue Morganelli angle and Verenna? Comments from readers online.
