Tiger Woods' mother-in-law 'stable' in hospital
Tiger Woods's mother in law is in a stable condition after being taken from his Florida home in an ambulance in the morning, a hospital spokesman said.
Health Central Hospital, said spokesman Dan Yates Barbro Holmberg was admitted suffering from stomach pain.
Last week, Woods apologized to his family to let them down amid speculation about his private life.
His statement came days after he was found bleeding and semi-conscious after a traffic accident outside his home.
The reports said Woods's mother-in-law, who lives in Sweden, has been visiting his daughter Elin, a former model to which Woods has been married for five years. The couple has two children.
An emergency 911 call was received from Woods's house in a gated community near Orlando in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Local television pictures showed him wearing a blond woman on a stretcher in the hospital.
The television station said Orlando wesh radio records showed that the patient had initially refused transport, but later appears as an advance life support patient.
Woods car accident on November 27 followed a story in a gossip magazine U.S. she had an affair with a cocktail waitress in Los Angeles.
The incident fueled speculation that Woods had had a dispute with his wife.
The champion of the 14-later was charged with careless driving and fined $ 164.
A police report released Monday showed that a policeman of the Florida Highway Patrol Woods had suspected of driving under the influence, and requested a subpoena for the results of the player's blood at the hospital where he was treated after the accident.
