NWFP gets Rs 10 bln of hydel power

Islamabad, Oct 17 (APP): The federal government has issued principal amount of the past liability on the basis of net hydel profit worth 10 billion rupees for NWFP. The NWFP government has now decided to take part in the NFC meeting. Finance Minister of NWFP Humayun Khan told Geo News that the Hoofminister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti yesterday met with Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani, followed by the payment of arrears. NWFP will now join the NFC meeting.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister NWFP Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has resigned the federal government and said that the payment of the provincial economy will be strengthened. He says more investment in hydel power generation will be made.
Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani was the settlement of the longstanding issue of net hydel profit announced for the NWFP committing the payment of 10 billion rupees over the next five years, he added
